A very encouraging article was just released regarding female incontinence. Dr. Kenneth Peters, medical director of The Women’s Urology Center, conducted research on injecting stem cells into the sphincter to remedy incontinence. Even more encouraging, the procedure is minimally invasive, and can be done in a doctor’s office.
Incontinence can often be an issue for women of all ages. It can be a side effect of fibroids, childbirth, or expansion of the pelvic floor as we age. The results of the research showed that incontinence symptoms disappeared in 60{089f036bcf71a4101b04d04475126de09cd53d2a276176fb3b030106ba816fa1} of the research participants.
The research was conducted at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oaks, Michigan. The complete article can be found here.
